General Conversation Courses
COURSE DESCRIPTION
These courses are designed to improve your speaking and listening ability. Students will talk about Japanese life, Japanese culture, etc., exchange opinions, and make presentations. Pre-assignments will review vocabulary, grammar, etc., and prepare you for speaking, so you can concentrate on speaking in class.
There are levels from beginner to advanced, so you can learn in a class that best suits you while still providing a challenge.
We’ll help place you in the appropriate class so you get the most out of your time with us. The application process includes a level check quiz that will pinpoint your current ability and help us place you in the appropriate level. Just let us know which class schedule you prefer.
Level 1: Elementary
Learn how to talk about your daily life and interests, such as hobbies and your recommendations.
This is ideal for those who have learned all the elementary grammar and language but cannot speak well. You can prepare to speak before class because you know the model conversation in advance assignments. Zoom classes are offered two days a week for careful instruction!

Exchange opinions about Japan and Japanese culture.
This course is ideal for those who can speak in daily conversation but would like to be able to explain and exchange opinions. Students will talk about each topic and exchange opinions while learning words and expressions that are typical of the Japanese language. Students will meet once a week at a comfortable pace and summarize their thoughts in Japanese for the class!

This course is ideal for those who want to learn to speak Japanese in a more natural way with confidence. We read newspaper articles and essays and discuss them with people.
Students will meet once a week at a comfortable pace, and summarize their thoughts in Japanese for the class!

In order to sustain an optimal teacher to student ratio, we limit our class size to 10 students.
